Christmas Luncheon at Gardner Village
Hooo boy! Here we are into the holiday season already. My, oh my how the time just flies! So many systems to fix, so little time to finish them. Oh well, I suppose I’d better take a little time for some holiday cheer. You should too. After all you’ve done this year, you very well deserve it! We’ve got just the thing for you. The Greater Salt Lake Midrange User Group is having our annual Christmas luncheon on Wednesday, December 8th at The Gathering Place at Gardner Village from 11:30 am to 1:45 pm. Abstract: David Berg – Utah’s AIM Leadership Development Director
David Berg is a retired CIO (Chief Information Officer) and current Director of Utah’s AIM Leadership Development programs. David will speak on the subject Human Technology and its connections to Information Technology.
David has over 25 years experience in the CIO role with a variety of high technology corporations. He started his career with IBM and rose to the position of CIO in one of the large IBM division. After leaving IBM, he has served as a CIO for several other significant technology companies, including UNISYS, Sun Microsystems, MIPS Technology, Cirrus Logics and Exabyte. Four years ago he retired from OC Tanner after having served as their Senior VP and CIO for seven years.
In his CIO roles he has been recognized and awarded many times for his innovative and effective technology, people and business leadership. He has also mentored and developed more the a dozen technology professionals to the position of CIO.
Today his passion has shifted from Information Technology to Human Technology. His primary focus now is on Leadership and Business development. He conducts a 4-month Leadership Development program for the AIM Information Technology professional organization here in Salt Lake City twice a year.
I am sure you will find him both enlightening and entertaining. Come and join us at the luncheon and learn from David Berg.

Each Corporate membership paid includes two seats at the luncheon and Individual membership includes one seat. If you have additional employees that would like to come, please bring them. Have them bring a $20 donation for their luncheon fee.
