Annual GSLMUG Election Luncheon

June is the month of the annual officers elections.  It’s only 2 weeks away and we need all of you to get involved and send us your nominations for each of the Presidency positions. Send me an email with your preferences and we’ll get these names presented.

The rules of the election according the bylaws of the organization are as follows.

  1. Voting membership – any member who is not a vendor of IBM System equipment or peripherals is eligible to vote on issues that come before GSLMUG, such a voting for Directors or bylaws. Each voting member has one vote. Cumulative voting is not allowed. Each voting member may authorize in writing another person to act for them by proxy.
  2. Non-voting membership – any member who is a vendor or IBM System equipment or peripherals.
  3. Eligibility of Directors – Voting members are eligible to be elected and serve as directors.

The positions for nomination are President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer.  I hope that you all take a minute and let us know who you would like to see serve in  one of these capacities for the next year.  Start sending us the nominations that you have in mind.  These nominations will be presented at the Election Luncheon for the vote.
